Hello again...

I'm trying this out from my iPhone so we'll see how well this works out. It's been quite a while obviously since my last post. What brought me back here today was me thinking of the holidays. Of friends and family. The simplistic perfection of that time of year. Many times during the summer I will long for the holiday time. Don't get me wrong I do like things about the summer as well. But I always long for the coziness of the holiday season. The commercials, a fire place crackling, a dark room with only the light of a Christmas tree, putting up the Christmas lights on my brother's house, drinking coffee and playing board games, the Macy's day parade. I think the special thing about that time of year is maybe it's one of the only times we choose to focus on the little things in life. I know it's silly to long for that time in June but I am. Every now and then I like to have a mock holiday day. So Holiday 2012 come soon cause we're ready for you!

T-Minus 7 days

7 days and counting... That's one week until I go home for Thanksgiving! That's so weird. I'm off again today and my days are consisting of going to the grocery store, working out, and playing Modern Warfare 2. Mom- here's the Christmas Shoppe website http://shoppe.schlitterbahnchristmas.com/ . Later folks.

Most Wonderful Time of The Year

Hello all....I know, I know it's been quite some time since my last post. I've been getting into the holiday spirit here lately but had to keep it hidden to the outside world. Now that it's Nov. 2nd I'd say Thanksgiving/Christmas is all fair game. Time to break out the Christmas records!! I'm really going to try and stay up with this more often now. I was thinking of my old posts where I posted up Thanksgiving pictures and it truly is a great reminder of probably the best Thanksgiving I can remember. I hope to beat that Thanksgiving Day this year.

Now on to a little bit about my day. Today I will be working out chest and triceps as I only have three days to fit my workouts in. On a personal note, I had only been running and not lifting weights at all for approximately four months. I surprisingly noted that not much muscle loss occurred and I lost approximately 20 lbs coming down from 200 lbs to 180 lbs. This weekend is Liz's birthday so we will be traveling to McAllen to celebrate. Hopefully I will have my camera charged up soon and will be posting pictures of all my adventures. Have a great day and seize it why don't you?!
